At the Nonprofit Alliance for Women and Girls, we are committed to creating an ecosystem where organizations can come together to support the advancement and well-being of women and girls. We’re taking bold steps to build a stronger, more connected, and more sustainable network—guided by clear goals that align with our mission.

What We’re Working Toward

1. Empowering Leaders and Organizations
   We’re providing nonprofit leaders with tools and training to grow both professionally and personally. By strengthening leadership skills and capacity, we ensure our member organizations are equipped to lead meaningful change.
2. Becoming the Hub for Connection and Collaboration
   Our Alliance will serve as a central resource-sharing and partnership-building hub. Through networking events and collaborative campaigns, we’re creating the infrastructure for deeper, long-term relationships among mission-aligned organizations.
3. Shaping Advocacy and Collective Voice
   We’re building a unified advocacy agenda that highlights key issues like affordable housing, maternal health, and gender equity. By aligning our messaging and strategies, we’ll amplify our collective voice and drive real policy change.
4. Strengthening Membership and Inclusive Engagement
   We’re assessing who’s at the table—and who’s missing. We aim to grow a more inclusive membership base and deepen participation through active engagement and dynamic learning opportunities.
5. Planning for Visibility and Long-Term Sustainability
   From launching our website to developing a three-year strategic plan and pursuing grant funding, we’re laying the groundwork for enduring impact. Our long-term goal is to ensure the Alliance becomes a sustainable, highly visible force for good.

Group Goals: Moving Together with Intention

We’re also setting collective goals to keep us aligned and inspired:

• Inspire Every Participant: Through quarterly trainings, powerful storytelling, and engagement surveys, we’ll ensure everyone who connects with the Alliance leaves empowered and energized.
• Take Strategic Action: A new Action Committee will guide how we select focus issues and mobilize initiatives. This structured, member-led process ensures that our actions are mission-aligned and measurable.
• Increase Visibility: With the launch of a new website and a presence on LinkedIn, we’re amplifying our message and extending our reach.
• Plan for the Future: We’re building a sustainable roadmap through a 3-year strategic plan, a formal resource-sharing model, and funding opportunities that keep our mission thriving well into the future.
